Bosch Rexroth Debuts EDG - OBE Piloted Compact Directional Valves at IVT Expo 2025

From August 20 to 21, 2025, the IVT Expo 2025 was held in Rosemont, Illinois. The exhibition focuses on mobile off - highway machinery such as construction and agricultural equipment, attracting many original equipment manufacturers, component suppliers, and system integrators. Among them, Bosch Rexroth showcased its newly developed EDG - OBE piloted compact directional valve at the expo.
The EDG - OBE is a sectional directional valve integrated with on - board electronics. This design not only enables real - time monitoring of the valve's operating status but also significantly improves the control accuracy of the valve. For original equipment manufacturers, the integrated electronic components simplify the integration process of the valve and the debugging of electronic systems, greatly reducing the difficulty of equipment assembly.
This directional valve has a wide range of application scenarios, especially suitable for mobile equipment such as aerial platforms, forklifts, and agricultural cranes. In addition to the EDG - OBE, Bosch Rexroth and its Hydraforce brand also presented other products at the expo, including the EHBL digital boom control valve, an oil condition sensor co - developed with Tan Delta Systems, and compact power modules.
During the expo, the National Fluid Power Association also held a hydraulic technology conference. The conference focused on technological developments in automation, electrification, and energy efficiency in the hydraulic field. The launch of the EDG - OBE directional valve is in line with these industry development trends and is expected to become a key component in promoting the upgrading of mobile hydraulic equipment.
